Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Halmstad track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bescond Hamilton found a gap and took the lead. Chapin followed before Front Plan.




Chapin quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Bescond Hamilton looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Dream Vision couldn't come out from behind the leader, Chapin. Front Plan suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Bescond Hamilton accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Dream Vision litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Chapin made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Dream Vision.
