Only a humble breeze blew over Joensuu this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Jumping Orchid took the lead after a very quick start. Charlene galloped for 60m and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Edmée started to galop and lost 30 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Starstruck Daffodil sprinted to the front.




Jumping Orchid took the lead after 1000m. Starstruck Daffodil didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Jumping Orchid was still in the lead after 1500m.



Jumping Orchid sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Jukka-Pekka Kauhanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Jumping Orchid started to galopp and lost 30 m.




Starstruck Daffodil sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
