One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Powerful Cube found a gap and took the lead. Par Bonheur followed before Kummitusjuna. When the startcar left the field Guard Of Ottawa started to galop and lost 10 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

Par Bonheur sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Powerful Cube accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Powerful Cube kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Par Bonheur suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Kummitusjuna won the race after a spectacular finish.
