One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





You Are History could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Covenanter took the lead after 1000m. You Are History didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Covenanter today. It continued in the lead.



Covenanter kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






You Are History won the race after a spectacular finish.
