The weather had been good all week and Turku was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nowhere Darkness could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Nowhere Darkness was in fine shape and held the lead.




Eros took the lead after 1000m. Nowhere Darkness didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Eros followed by Turning Madness and Rosier Êtes Rouge. Lane two Nowhere Darkness followed by Brave Strategy and Top Of Fawlty. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 10 m.



Eros looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Top Of Fawlty galoped way to long and was disqualified. Top Of Fawlty was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Heikki Hietanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Rosier Êtes Rouge started to galopp and lost 30 m.




Eros kept the speed the whole finish and won before Nowhere Darkness and Brave Strategy.
