The weather had been good all week and Vaggeryd was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Backstabbing Jewel tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Rainking that came steaming ahead.




Backstabbing Jewel quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Backstabbing Jewel was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Backstabbing Jewel followed by Rainking and Golden Puma. Lane two Focused Bandwith followed by Kilimanjaro and Potential Mom.



Focused Bandwith suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Backstabbing Jewel was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Rainking galop. Rainking lost 50 m.




Kilimanjaro won. Focused Bandwith came in second. Potential Mom caught third place.
