Only a humble breeze blew over Romme this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fighting Mustache could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Gold Dreamcatcher, Bleu Blanc Rouge, New York Groove, Jolly Duchess, Moonlight Nutcracker, Fighting Mustache, Tharx Hamilton, Pinstripe´s Grynet.




Jolly Duchess looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Tharx Hamilton couldn't come out from behind the leader, Gold Dreamcatcher.




Jolly Duchess saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Jolly Duchess kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Fighting Mustache galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Tharx Hamilton sprinted over the finishline before Pinstripe´s Grynet and Jolly Duchess.
