One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Frozen Box could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. This is the positions after 500m. Calming Piece, Thunder Fighter, Ohio State Sheriff, Frozen Box, Starstruck Fall, , , . Calming Piece was disturbed and galoped 20 m. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Calming Piece today. It continued in the lead. Calming Piece looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Frozen Box won. Thunder Fighter came in second. Ohio State Sheriff caught third place. Results
