One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Charlene took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Charlene started to galop and lost 50 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Invincible Heart started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Confident Piece looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Charlene couldn't come out from behind the leader, Fighting Gravity.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Confident Piece today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Fighting Gravity gallopped for 10 m.




Confident Piece was still in the lead after 2000m.




Confident Piece seemed to be in good shape this day and continued in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Fighting Gravity galoped for 20 m. Confident Piece looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Charlene didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
