One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Béziers took the lead after a very quick start.

Réclamant Le Trophée quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Réclamant Le Trophée was still in the lead after 1500m. Béziers showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Prank speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
