The sun was shining on Bologna and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





King Of Marigold could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Mark MacDonald wanted a little to much in the start and Ecco galoped for 50 m.




Ecco quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Chocolate Fontain took the lead rather easily.




Power Plan saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Narkissos Sunset gallopped for 10 m.



Power Plan sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Ecco, 2 King Of Marigold, 3 Chocolate Fontain.
