One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Helpful Judge was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Nicklas Westerholm wanted a little to much in the start and Inkas Sapphire Circus galoped for 40 m.

Redlös Opal saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Avocat Du Diable showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Animated Moussolou looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Anonymous couldn't come out from behind the leader, Redlös Opal.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Redlös Opal followed by Helpful Judge and Leevi Lauhkea. Lane two Animated Moussolou followed by Inkas Sapphire Circus and Anonymous. Avocat Du Diable galloped for 40 m.

Animated Moussolou took the lead.

Animated Moussolou sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Helpful Judge sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
