The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Boden this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Golden Wave could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Shooting General, Fast Box, Golden Wave, Slow Judge, Criminal Sally, Rancho Cucamonga, Gold Monopoly, . A bird flew just in front of Gold Monopoly who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Slow Judge took the lead after 1000m. Golden Wave didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Slow Judge was still in the lead after 1500m.



Slow Judge kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Golden Wave sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
