The sun was shining on Solvalla and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Funky Blossom sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Calming Mountain quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Funky Bouquet looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Kvarngärdets Galaxy couldn't come out from behind the leader, Calming Mountain. Funky Blossom was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Kvarngärdets Galaxy looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Kvarngärdets Galaxy galoped for 40 m. Climbing Blizzard suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Rheingau sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
