It had been raining for several days at Åmål but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Laverne took the lead after a very quick start. Optimus galloped for 60m and was disqualified. The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Windy Blossom sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Vicious Vampire accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. With only a little left of the race Floating Pony galoped for 10 m. Floating Pony suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. Floating Pony galoped way to long and was disqualified. Laverne made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Vicious Vampire. Results
