The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lying Carneval could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Athletic Strategy saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Athletic Strategy was still in the lead after 1500m.



Athletic Strategy kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Hohenzollern Hof won the race after a spectacular finish.
