One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Magnificent C.C. found a gap and took the lead. Shy Piece followed before Idoitagain. Roger Pettersson wanted a little to much in the start and Stravinskij galoped for 40 m.




Cheerful Bear saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Stravinskij took the lead after 1000m. Magnificent C.C. didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
