It had been raining for several days at Arvika but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Waving Gold took the lead after a very quick start.




Blasting Beast quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Arctic Roller sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Arctic Roller followed by Snack Bar and El Rapido. Lane two Narkissos Tooma followed by Waving Gold and Hoping Bandwagon.



Arctic Roller kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Snack Bar made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Narkissos Tooma.
