Only a humble breeze blew over Åby this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dragonslayer sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Tricky Feeling was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Dragonslayer who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Dragonslayer clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Connaisseur suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m. Mostrare galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dragonslayer followed by Powerful Factory and Tricky Feeling. Lane two The Boss followed by Connaisseur and Dead Runner.



Dragonslayer kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






The Boss made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Powerful Factory.
