The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Garrix was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Ducourtioux started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Pallo Salma took the lead after 1000m. Garrix didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Garrix looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Garrix kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Ducourtioux won. Pallo Salma came in second. Garrix caught third place.
