Melbourne Superior found a gap and took the lead. Cassander Ameste followed before Pat Hibulaire. When the startcar left the field Viens Véritable started to galop and lost 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Pecorino sprinted to the front.

Dreams Can Come True sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Cassander Ameste galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dreams Can Come True followed by Slow Panther and Stretching Wardrobe. Lane two Melbourne Superior followed by Pat Hibulaire and Rightwinger. Melbourne Superior galloped for 20 m. Cassander Ameste started to gallop after 1500m and Alexander Heisholt had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Melbourne Superior was first on the homestretch followed by Slow Panther and Dreams Can Come True.

Vidar Tjomsland tried a little too much on the homestretch and Pat Hibulaire started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Slow Panther won the race after a spectacular finish.
