One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ginger Gold tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Steel Judge that came steaming ahead. Ginger Gold was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Steel Judge who started to galop and lost 30 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Steel Judge was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Dusty Candy made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Steel Judge.
