The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Skellefteå today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Maybe Today could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Annalena Lindkvist wanted a little to much in the start and Rose Racer galoped for 10 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Buzy Buzy Buzy who started to galop and lost 50 m. Gold Pringles showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Semenko Pegasos clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Semenko Pegasos was still in the lead after 1500m.

With only a little left of the race Giggling Wish galoped for 30 m. Semenko Pegasos were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Hanna Olofsson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Semenko Pegasos started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Maybe Today kept the speed the whole finish and won before Viens Véritable and Buzy Buzy Buzy.
