One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Couturière could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Couturière clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Wimpy Needle saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Wimpy Needle were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Wimpy Needle kept the speed the whole finish and won before Couturière and Falling Pony.
