The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Gävle this day. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Polished Gentleman was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. This is the positions after 500m. Maurilio, Courageous Piece, Polished Gentleman, Outspoken Agent, Nessla Erratic, , , . No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Outspoken Agent saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Outspoken Agent sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Polished Gentleman won. Outspoken Agent came in second. Nessla Erratic caught third place. Results
