One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Confident Band could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Rex Francorum was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




Rex Francorum was in fine shape and held the lead.




Pallo Salma was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Pallo Salma today. It continued in the lead. Confident Band started to gallop after 1500m and Magnus Jakobsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Pallo Salma didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Pallo Salma were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Winner of todays race was Rex Francorum. Pallo Salma came in second. Confident Band became third.
