One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wenig was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Coughing Dreamcatcher was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Carlos Gretchen today. It continued in the lead. Coughing Dreamcatcher started to gallop after 1500m and Peter Strooper had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Wenig kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Coughing Dreamcatcher was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Wenig sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Jumping Closet kept the speed the whole finish and won before Carlos Geisha and Swinging Starlight.
