The weather had been good all week and Drammen was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Philimon. Archibald Duke ended up behind the leader. Alligator got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Pointing Queen saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Alligator looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Philimon couldn't come out from behind the leader, Pointing Queen. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.

Alligator accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Go For It showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Go For It was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Go For It galloped way to long and was disqualified. Alligator kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and Go For It started to galopp and lost 50 m. Go For It galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.

Philimon won the race after a spectacular finish.
