One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Crossing Baby tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Hard Hero that came steaming ahead. Competitive Sergeant galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Hard Hero suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Hard Hero today. It continued in the lead.



Crossing Baby was first on the homestretch followed by Hard Hero and Competitive Sergeant.






Hard Hero won the race after a spectacular finish.
