One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Gigolo Giggs. Vlug Aanvalle ended up behind the leader. Snabbish got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Dufresne was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




Merk Vermakelijk saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Merk Vermakelijk was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Narkissos Du Cocktail looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Narkissos Du Cocktail sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
