One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Céline found a gap and took the lead. Big´n Strong followed before Boi Cotte.

Céline was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Focused Wave who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Big´n Strong looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Boi Cotte couldn't come out from behind the leader, Céline.

Focused Wave won the race after a spectacular finish.
