The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nessla Forever could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Tender Muscle showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




Turning Whirlwind quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Brown Pirate started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Heracles took the lead rather easily.




Flea Flow saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. driver couldn't keep Ginger Sugar to trotting so they were disqualified.



Flea Flow kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Turning Whirlwind was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.




Nessla Forever never caught up with Flea Flow who won. Heracles came third.
