The sun was shining on Visby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Athletic Vande Hynderweide found a gap and took the lead. White Knight followed before Prince Lightning. When the startcar left the field Slow Play started to galop and lost 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Lieutenant Pain, Le Diplomate, Slow Play, White Knight, Prince Lightning, Athletic Vande Hynderweide, Old Rocker, Clever Rock. Commander Crew galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Prince Lightning sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.



Old Rocker sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

White Knight galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Athletic Vande Hynderweide won. Le Diplomate came in second. Prince Lightning caught third place.
