One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pécheux sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Boi Cotte started to galop and lost 30 m.




Pécheux was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Pécheux started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Fighting Steel sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Fighting Steel was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Regicide galoped for 30 m. Fighting Steel sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Pécheux won. Fighting Steel came in second. Isidor Rori caught third place.
