One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Betulaceae. Hador Lórindol ended up behind the leader. Butasan got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Aki Antti-Roiko wanted a little to much in the start and Cute Angel galoped for 10 m. Hador Lórindol suddenly started to galop. Markku Nieminen had to struggle to get Hador Lórindol to tror again and succeded after 50 m. When the startcar left the field Pampered Necklace started to galop and lost 10 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Cute Angel, Pampered Necklace, Breaking Carneval, Raised On Whiskey, Butasan, New York Groove, Betulaceae, Hador Lórindol.

Butasan took the lead after 1000m. Cute Angel didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Pampered Necklace was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Betulaceae sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
