It had been raining for several days at Skellefteå but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ont Couvert Soie found a gap and took the lead. Handy Hyena followed before Ginger Gal.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Handy Hyena was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Pur Tablette galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Pur Tablette never caught up with Ont Couvert Soie who won. Ginger Gal came third.
