Only a humble breeze blew over Bergen this day. The track where in perfect shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Glittering Diamond was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.
This is the positions after 500m. Bleu Et Jaune, Criminal Dreamgirl, Glittering Diamond, Skrinja Zaprt, Pink Daffodil, Piska Litetill, Stopping Whirlwind, Fiamingo. Stopping Whirlwind was disturbed and galoped 20 m.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop Bleu Et Jaune today. It continued in the lead.
Piska Litetill was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Glittering Diamond was first on the homestretch followed by Pink Daffodil and Criminal Dreamgirl.
driver couldn't keep Fiamingo to trotting so they were disqualified.
Pink Daffodil sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
