One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Pirate got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m.

Pirate sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Sound sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.
