One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Smoother Then Ever. Lausanne Hof ended up behind the leader. Vicomte Boufarcaux got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Jermayne was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

Arrière-pensée saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Arrière-pensée was still in the lead after 1500m.

Arrière-pensée was still in the lead after 2000m.

There was a new leader after 2500m, Stepping Peach. driver couldn't keep Lausanne Hof to trotting so they were disqualified.

Stepping Peach looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Arrière-pensée won. Smoother Then Ever came in second. Stepping Peach caught third place.
