The weather had been good all week and Umåker was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Treacy took the lead after a very quick start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Jumping Scope took the lead after 1000m. étoile Magique Jr didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Treacy showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Jumping Scope sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Jumping Scope didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
