It had been raining for several days at Jarlsberg but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Mrs Trot Fawlty took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Le Diplomate sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m. Waving News galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Killer sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Killer today. It continued in the lead. Prince Warrior started to gallop after 1500m and Eirik Høitomt had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Prince Warrior was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Killer kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Travis Des Fawlty sprinted over the finishline before Magic Machine and Killer.
