One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Étoile Jaune took the lead after a very quick start.




Pinstripe´s Gandi quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Lying Blossom took the lead after 1000m. Pinstripe´s Gandi didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Vacherie galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Lying Blossom today. It continued in the lead.



Stopping Trap speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Jos Verbeeck tried a little too much on the homestretch and Stopping Trap started to galopp and lost 40 m.




Lying Blossom won the race after a spectacular finish.
