One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Conrado tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Laverne that came steaming ahead.

Opposing News took the lead after 1000m. Laverne didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Laverne saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Laverne was still in the lead after 2000m.



Laverne looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
