One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Jumping Band could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m. When the startcar left the field Giant Sharp started to galop and lost 50 m. Solid Ground suddenly started to galop. Jim Oscarsson had to struggle to get Solid Ground to tror again and succeded after 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Fair Moment, Jumping Power, Peur Du Noir, Jumping Band, Solid Ground, Grimace, Monimaker, Sad Pearl. King City Samson started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Jumping Band took the lead after 1000m. Jumping Power didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Jumping Band today. It continued in the lead.

Jumping Band sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Jumping Band looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused King City Samson galop. King City Samson lost 40 m.

No-one could catch Jumping Band today who won before Jumping Power and Toronto Maple Leafe.
