Climbing Steel accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Thai Gear started to gallop after 1500m and Örjan Kihlström had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Popcorn Maker took the lead. Second Intention was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.

Popcorn Maker sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
