One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Rival Andersen took the lead after a very quick start.

This is the positions after 500m. Turning Lemonade, Tactical Success, Spécial Jeune Fille, Paradise Saint, Rival Andersen, Simb Raindance, Best Quality, Beautiful Ruby. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Zuiver Zoetigheid started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Tactical Success took the lead after 1000m. Turning Lemonade didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Shining Princess was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Turning Lemonade saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Beautiful Ruby started to gallop after 1500m and Örjan Kihlström had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Beautiful Ruby was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Turning Lemonade were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Shining Princess was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.

Best Quality sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
