One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Adonis was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Thomas Hamilton started to galop and lost 50 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Running On Clouds sprinted to the front. Thomas Hamilton galloped way to long and was disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Running On Clouds who started to galop and lost 20 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Pampered Necklace took the lead rather easily.

Pampered Necklace didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
