Just Runner quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Modestine took the lead after 1000m. Philimon didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Modestine followed by Le Mans Racer and Gold Hugo Boss. Lane two Windy Ways followed by Philimon and Rozier.

Modestine didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

With only a little left of the race Just Runner galoped for 40 m. Le Mans Racer speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Modestine won the race after a spectacular finish.
