The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åmål this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Volo Principe was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Pinstripe´s California Dream quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Volo Principe took the lead rather easily.




Pinstripe´s California Dream saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Pinstripe´s California Dream didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Ketjap Manis galoped for 50 m. Pinstripe´s California Dream were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Volo Principe won the race after a spectacular finish.
