One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Posui sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Jim Oscarsson wanted a little to much in the start and Desire Dancer galoped for 40 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Posui was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Posui followed by Speed For Gold and Desire Dancer. Lane two Sonic Division followed by To The Top and Pin Stripe.



With only a little left of the race Speed For Gold galoped for 40 m. Posui were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






No-one could catch Posui today who won before Speed For Gold and Sonic Division.
